A02YYUW – 3-450cm waterproof Ultrasonic Module in Sensors



Ultrasonic distance sensor measuring the distance by measuring the time between sending and receiving a pulse. The A02YYUW is an easy to use, high quality distance sensor that features a much smaller dead zone, a wider measuring angle and resistance to water and dust, compared to other similar sensors. It allows to measure distances from 3 cm to 450 cm. It communicates through a UART serial interface. The module is powered from 3.3 V to 5 V. The sensor is enclosed in a waterproof housing with IP67 protection class.

The ultrasonic sensor adopts closed separated probe, waterproof and dustproof, which could be well suitable for harsh and moist measuring environment. All the signal processing units are integrated inside the module, so users can directly obtain the distance value through Asynchronous Serial Interface. With 9600bit/s band rate, the sensor can easily communicate with upper-host or other MCU, which greatly shortens the developing cycle for users.
